P4r Responsible Gaming – Entertainment That's Healthy & Controlled
P4r believes entertainment is only meaningful when it doesn't come at the cost of other areas of your life. On this page, we share everything you need to know about responsible gaming — including tips, guidance, and where to get support.
P4r's Commitment to Responsible Gaming
As an entertainment platform, p4r is committed to the mental and financial wellbeing of our users. Our core promise is simple: gaming should be a source of fun — never stress, anxiety, or financial hardship.
We believe every adult user is capable of making their own choices. But sometimes the right information or a little support can make a real difference. That's exactly what this page is here for.
Gaming at p4r should always be voluntary, controlled, and in harmony with your other responsibilities. If you ever feel like you're losing control, take a break immediately and seek support if needed.
How do you recognise the signs of problematic gaming?
- Chasing losses by placing more bets to win back money.
- Spending beyond your set budget.
- Gaming with borrowed money or by dipping into your savings.
- Placing bets by cutting back on essential expenses.
- Feeling unable to stop gaming.
- Hiding your gaming activity from family or friends.
- Neglecting work, family, or hobbies.
- Feeling restless or irritable when not gaming.
If you notice any of the signs above in yourself, take a break right away. Remember — awareness is the first step toward change.
Practical Tips for Managing Your Time & Budget
Budget Planning
- Set a fixed gaming budget (৳) for each week or month.
- Once that budget is gone, stop — don't chase your losses.
- Gaming should be treated as an "entertainment expense" — not an investment or a source of income.
- Before you bet, ask yourself: can you afford to lose this money?
Time Management
- Set a limit on how much time you spend gaming each day or week before you start.
- Set an alarm or timer before you start gaming.
- Avoid gaming during family time, work hours, or study sessions.
- Avoid long gaming sessions late at night before bed.
What tools are available to help me stay in control?
You can set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits at any time. Limits take effect immediately once set. Increasing a limit requires a waiting period, which helps prevent impulsive overspending.
If you feel like you need a short break, you can temporarily suspend your account for a set period. During this time, access to the platform will be restricted. You'll regain access only after the break period has ended.
If you feel you need to step away from gaming for an extended period, you can apply for self-exclusion. Once active, your account cannot be reopened before the set period ends. Contact the Help Centre to get the process started.
Protecting Minors & Maintaining Life Balance
Protecting Children & Young People
P4r is strictly for users aged 18 and above. Minors are not permitted on the platform under any circumstances. We ask all parents and guardians to:
- Keep your account credentials secure on your phone or computer.
- Enable parental controls on your devices.
- Limit your use of gaming apps in front of children.
Keep a Healthy Balance in Life
Entertainment is just one small part of life. Enjoy gaming alongside family, friends, work, health, and hobbies — never let it take centre stage. Take regular breaks, spend time outdoors, and stay connected with the people who matter.
Is seeking professional help a sign of weakness?
Not at all. Asking for help takes courage. If you find it hard to stay in control on your own, don't hesitate to seek professional support. Mental health services and counsellors are available in Bangladesh.
Contact the p4r Help Centre for guidance on setting account limits, taking a break, or requesting self-exclusion. Our team is here to support you — not to judge.
